Getting Better/Bigger All The TIme

Halloween At Disneyland

Shawn and I went up to Disneyland this afternoon after his nap. We got there around 3pm and it couldn't have been a more perfect time to arrive. Alot of people were leaving as we were pulling in. The weather was perfect as well. And all the Halloween decorations were up. The "Mickey Pumpkin" on Main Street at night.

We had a great time. Plus the cowboys won again so Zach was in a great mood when we got home. And Shawn fell asleep in the car. All good things for me!!!

It's Raining!

While I was in the shower this morning Zach let Shawn go outside and play in the rain. He was so excited to be out there. Here are the photos Zach took of him

FINALLY!!!

I got a call from Zach tonight saying "guess what?" Sarcastically I said "Shawn pee'd in his potty". An enthusiastic Zach shouted "YES!". Ok so that's my corny mom story. But yippee for Shawn. He was going to take a shower with Daddy, when Daddy made a pit stop at the potty. Shawn was staring at Zach. Zach asked him if he wanted to sit on his potty like daddy. Shawn shouted yes and ran over to his potty chair that has been sitting there unused for almost 3 months. Sat his fanny down and woolah like a pro did pee pee and started grunting trying to poop. Im guessing he learned the grunting from his dad. Anyways I hope this will lead to him being potty trained quickly and NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Back At D-Land

Shawn and I went to Disneyland today. Our blockout days are done and the weather finally has cooled down. So we decided to go today. O, did I forget to mention that this was the first day of the regular football season. And we have Sunday Ticket, so every guy Zach knows is parked in our living room. So I had to escape for at least some of the day. Shawn was so happy to be at Disneyland. He rode Peter Pan, the Carousel, Tea Cups, Small World, The Train, Jungle Cruise and of course we had to goto the Tiki Room. We finished off the day with lunch at Downtown Disney. Then went to Grandma's to take a nap. (to much noise at home for either one of us to nap) Here are some pictures of Shawn on the Carousel. We didn't see any characters : (

we're back!

Well I have not blogged in over a month. So sorry. August seems almost like a complete blur. I also have not taken any pictures recently. So I snapped a few this morning of Shawn in his new pirate shirt. He is getting so big. He is now a 4t in shirts. AMAZING! We also purchased him "Finding Nemo" dvd the other day and he loves it. This is his potential Halloween Costume. Not sure yet. But I thought it was very cute. Zach on the other hand is not so sure about it. We are going to Disneyland on Sunday as long as the weather stays pleasant. And I will update this blog with new Disney pictures if we go.
