New Year's Eve

This morning we woke up and decided we would spend the afternoon at Boomer's in Irvine. We had a blast. We played 2 rounds of golf. Then Shawn rode the tea cups, train, carousel and played in the arcade with Zach. We had so much fun. We will definitely be going back soon. That place has changed a lot since it first opened when I was in jr. high. Tonight I think we are gonna make dinner and just hang.

round 3

Round 3 was pretty much a bust, only because I had the flu. Shawn got a lot of presents and he was thrilled. Unfortunately I didn't get too many pictures. But I did get this one.

Christmas Morning

Shawn woke up at 8am this morning. Grandma Debbie and Uncle Dan were outside waiting for him. He had so much fun opening all his presents. Round 2 will be this afternoon at my mom's and round 3 on saturday at grandad's. More posts to come.....

Christmas Eve

Tonight we went to mass with my mom & Dan and then met up with Bobby at El Toritos for dinner. Shawn was surprisingly good at church (might have something to do with that Santa guy) Shawn went home with my mom and I rushed home to wrap the presents. They are currently hiding in the bath tub. Just waiting to make sure he is fast asleep, I will NOT do Christmas at 2am. Hope everyone is having a fabulous holiday.

On Monday night I hit El Ranchito for some much needed time away. Couldn't think of a better way to start the Christmas week. And although some of us (not me) paid for it the next day, it was well worth it.

A Sunday W/Granny

Candy Cane Lane, Woodland Hills

Sunday we headed up to the valley to visit my grandma. We had a great time hanging out and seeing all her Christmas decor. We all went to the habit for dinner. We started home at 10:30 pm with a stop at candy cane lane in Woodland Hills. Shawn was so excited, he hasn't ever seen this many lights before. It was a long day but worth it.

Santa's Workshop

Tonight we went to Santa's Workshop in Mission Viejo with Lunette and Zoe. They had a blast. Although I think they had more fun goofing around in line then actually talking to Santa. Shawn has seen Santa 3x in the last 24 hrs.

This morning we went with Alyssa & Ryan for a boat ride with Santa. Although it was cold. We had a great time

Dana Point Boat Parade

On Friday night Shawn & I met up with Ruben, Anna, Lunette, Shannon & Zoe for the Dana Point Boat Parade. The kids had a blast. And the adults had a great time people watching. Shawn hadn't seen the girls in over a month and he was definitely missing these girls. Shawn was so happy that Santa was on every boat (glad he wasn't confused by that) and the 3 kids were yelling "merry Christmas" to each boat. They were all so cute!

On Saturday night Dan & I took Shawn to the ritz to see this year's gingerbread house. It is HUGE and looks so real. He was acting like a monkey infront of all the rich people anyways we took about 40 pics and this is the only decent one. I think it will be this year's christmas card.

I couldn't resist this wonderful cold weather we are having. Shawn and I escaped from football for a while and went down to creek side park in Dana Point. I was hoping to get a good shot for our Christmas cards but it looks like I will have to keep trying.

Trick or Treat!:!?!?!?!?

After a very long day the sun finally went down. Shawn never napped and went full speed all day. He was so excited to finally go out to trick or treat. We went to my mom's and he had a blast. He YELLED trick or treat at every door, said "thank you" and then told them to either have a happy halloween or a happy trick or treat day. He was just too cute! He finally fell asleep at about 10:15 I didn't take to many pictures because it was DARK! and I felt like I took plenty all day. But here are a couple:

This morning we went to a retirement home in Laguna Woods with our play group. Shawn had a lot of fun trick or treating to the old folks. Here's a few pictures : )
