Disneyland

On Monday night we went to Disneyland. We got there at 7p.m. Went on the Matterhorn and the carousel. Then headed over to California Adventure to see the Electrical Parade. Shawn had never seen it and he loved it. He sat right in the front on the curb and lots of the characters came right up to him. He was clapping his hands and dancing. SO CUTE

He was so stoked to see Goofey driving that train. He just started waving like crazy and giggling.

Anna and Lunette met us there, they had never seen the parade before. I think Anna was more into it than Lunette.

Shawn thought that the Peter Pan float was pretty cool. As they acted out a sword fight.

He liked Eliot and the Dragon too!

When the animals came he was all smiles

At 8:45 Mark and Gaylen were nice enough to offer to stand in line for the new Finding Nemo Sumbarine Ride. The line was just under 2 hours at that time. So after we saw the parade and the fireworks we jumped in line with them. That was at 10:15 and Shawn was quickly crashing. Gaylen gave Shawn a grape sucker and within 5 minutes he was all hyped up. When we made it to the front of the line at 11:15 we were all tired but excited to go on the ride. Shawn loved the ride so much. He was really into it. And the ride was much better than I anticipated. Makes me think how the rides will be in 20 years as technology improves even more. Here is a picture of Mark and Gaylen right before getting on Nemo. They were exhausted. But Mark appears almost delirious.
